Robert Edelman, M.D. graduated “Cum Laude” from Brooklyn College in 1970. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, New York and served residencies in Surgery and in Urology at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in the Bronx. He has published several papers on Urological research. He has also invented several significant medical products, including the Edelman Catheter.

Dr. Edelman is the former Chief of Urology at Winthrop University Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook Medical School. Dr. Edelman is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
